ICE Ball – Innovate. Create. Excel.
Thank you to everyone who attended the ICE Ball. Most evident during the evening was the joy and camaraderie among friends, a symbol of the community’s bond as we came together to support and celebrate our wonderful school. Contributions from the more than 420 guests, along with the commitments through Our Common Bond, will directly enhance the innovation, creativity, and excellence of the USM educational experience. Together, the attendees’ generous commitments exceeded $400,000, which when added to the $1 million “virtual paddle raise” shared remotely by alumnus Dick Kramlich MCDS’53, advanced the current campaign total to the 82 percent milestone of the $27 million goal. We are so grateful for everyone who participated in this memorable event.
“It was such a special evening with everyone coming together in support of University School,” said Head of School Laura Fuller. “Special thanks to ICE Ball co-chairs Melanie Booth and Catherine Robinson, the entire ICE Ball committee, and Vanessa Nerbun, director of annual and alumni programs, who have worked for months to finalize each detail of the complicated planning and implementation process—a true success!”
“As co-chairs, we are thrilled that the ICE Ball had such a positive impact within our USM community while lending strong financial support for the Our Common Bond Campaign,” said Booth and Robinson. “We’d like to thank all ICE Ball attendees who helped make the evening so enjoyable and we would especially like to thank all of our volunteers who made that event a great success.”
Attendees also enjoyed a special video created for the event, featuring students and some of the new spaces.
